Priced per pound.
Also known as PV Clay, Plastic Vitrox is a plastic, high-potash feldspar. It is also known as Plastic Vitrox Clay or PVC. It is used in low-fire clay bodies because it has a low melting point -- here, it increases flux activity, promotes plasticity and lowers shrinkage. In particular, it is a known additive in porcelain claybodies, which can benefit from an increase of plasticity and a lowering of maturing temperature.
Plastic Vitrox is similar to Cornwall Stone and is used in place of potash feldspar in porcelain bodies.
