Purge Clay (50# Box)

Purge clay is the clay "between" recipes. As we transition from one clay body to the next in our production line, there is always a need to purge several boxes of clay to ensure the previous clay body has been successfully emptied from the pug mill. We sell these boxes at a highly discounted rate as these blends are untested, never consistent, and impossible to replicate. Since these mixed clays have not been tested, we recommend only firing purge to low-fire, Orton Cone 06-04 temperatures. There is no color/grog option available in Purge clays.
